County Council Staff Highlight Benefits of Using the LLR Care Record

Interweave are delighted to have received more feedback on the benefits of using our shared care records.

Our partner, the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) Care Record, have conducted a survey of Leicestershire County Council staff using the care records which are powered by Interweave. This survey of staff who have been using the LLR Care Record has revealed a number of benefits in terms of time saved and improved care for local people.

The survey tool, Mentimeter, was used to assess adult social care colleagues’ opinions of using the LLR Care Record.

The top-ranking benefits discovered in the survey were:

  • Time saved phoning and emailing for information (84% agreement)
  • Improvements in the working day (56% agreement)
  • Better assessment and care decisions (52% agreement).

Quotes obtained from staff during the survey included:

  • “Speed has improved where we used to wait for GP contact, we can now check for ourselves.”
  • “Realised already referred to a service I was going to make a referral to but they hadn’t mentioned.”
  • “Once diagnosis identified I was able to ensure the right team progressed the request.”

Sandra Taylor, LLR Care Record benefits and change manager, who oversaw the survey, said: “We thank everyone who took the time to complete the survey. It has been very useful for us in working out what is working well and areas we need to develop next.”
