What is a Persona?

A persona is a representation of the needs, goals, and behaviours of a particular type of user.  

Personas should be based on real research, from multiple people, and grouped based on common goals and behaviour patterns, not demographics. They help to connect with and better understand your users and make informed human-centred decisions about your service. 

Our User Personas

The personas presented here are based on insights gathered from initial conversations and observations, reflecting only the experiences shared with us. Partners involved in early sessions included Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR), Yorkshire Ambulance Service, Yorkshire and Humber Care Record (YHCR), Synanetics and our users.  

By building closer relationships with our users, we believe we can improve the user experience and help them deliver better care. It also allows us to develop our offer based on real and current needs, providing easily accessible information, at the point of need, every time. 

Going forward, we hope to engage with additional partners and users to capture a broader range of experiences, enriching and expanding our persona library for a more comprehensive understanding of our users.
