Wakefield Council Adds Two More Care Homes to Care Record
Wakefield Council has expanded its participation in the Yorkshire & Humber Care Record for West Yorkshire with the addition of two more care homes: Dovecote Lodge and Flanshaw Lodge. Their inclusion marks another important step in strengthening information sharing between social care and health partners across the region.
By joining the shared care record, these care homes enable better access to relevant information for professionals involved in residents’ care. This supports more coordinated, person-centred care and helps ensure that decisions are informed by the most up-to-date information available.
The addition of Dovecote Lodge and Flanshaw Lodge builds on Wakefield Council’s ongoing commitment to integrated working and highlights the growing role of care homes within the wider digital care ecosystem. It also further enhances the value of the West Yorkshire Care Record for both professionals and the people they support.
