Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust Now Live With Data Consumption
Interweave is proud to confirm that the Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust (MYTT) has now gone live as a data consumer on the Yorkshire & Humber Care Record (YHCR). Having already been a valued data provider, MYTT’s progression to consuming data means a substantial step forward in advancing shared care across the region.
The Yorkshire & Humber Care Record (YHCR) allows clinicians to see information from multiple organisations about patients and use it for direct clinical care. Providing a significant step forward in increasing patient safety and informed decision making for the Trust.
The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust recognises the vital role that access to appropriate clinical information about a patient plays in safe and effective clinical care. Many of their patients have care delivered across multiple organisations across the patch including the Acute Trust, Local Authorities, Primary Care Networks, Community Pharmacy, Mental Health Trust and Voluntary and Community Social Enterprise organisations. It is important to have ready access to such information for clinical and social care staff to provide safe and high-quality care at every contact.
Becoming a data consumer allows the Trust to access the breadth of patient information now available from an increasing list of providers through the Yorkshire & Humber Care Record, developed by Interweave.
Interweave are committed to supporting our partners with the tools they need to transform care through data sharing.
