Maternity Component
The maternity component in Interweave provides clinicians with a consolidated view of key maternity information. Data is drawn from both maternity providers and regional shared care data sources, giving professionals a clear overview of pregnancy episodes alongside relevant clinical history.
Data Available
Pregnancy Episode Data (EpisodeOfCare)
- Episode start date
- Estimated Date of Delivery (EDD)
- Number of babies on scan
- Episode status (active / ended)
- Pregnancy outcome (previous pregnancies only)
Allergies (AllergyIntolerance)
- Allergies are displayed in a single section that blends data from the maternity provider and regional providers.
Appointments (Appointment)
- Appointments are shown as a merged view of those received from the maternity provider and from regional providers.
Encounters (Encounter)
- Displays encounter data from regional providers only.
- This helps clinicians understand other care activity alongside maternity care.
- No encounter data is provided directly by maternity systems.
Observations (Observation)
Observations provided by the maternity system and displayed in the maternity component:
- Blood group
- BMI
- Height
- Weight
- Blood pressure
- Current smoking status
Immunisations (Immunization)
- Named vaccinations recorded in the maternity system.
- Only data provided by the maternity provider is displayed here.
Previous Pregnancies (EpisodeOfCare – historical)
Full episode data for previous pregnancies can be viewed by selecting the relevant pregnancy from the left-hand menu.
A snapshot view of previous pregnancy episodes is shown within the active pregnancy record.
